International Master Daniel Fernandez USCF Rated 2439
Daniel taught at the Klein Chess Camp in 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011.  He earned his Master's title at the age of 11, and won many Florida and National tournaments and titles including the National Junior Invitational Tournament in 2005. He has been teaching chess for six years at various chess-in-the-schools programs such as BGS Chess in Dallas, as well as at the prestigious Castle Chess Camp in June 2004. He attended UT-Dallas for 2½ years and finished at UT-Brownsville in May 2009. He currently works as a fifth grade science computer lab teacher at Hudson Elementary in Brownsville, and teaches chess in several after school programs.

Jeff taught at the Klein Chess Camp in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. He is two time Michigan Junior Champion. He has taught at several camps, including Castle Chess Camp in Indiana, and Whitewater in Wisconsin. He teaches private chess students and school clubs in the Houston area. He has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas in cognitive science and psychology.  He owns the Panda Chess Academy in Houston. 

National Master Brad Sawyer USCF Rated 2293 .
Brad attended the Klein Chess Camp in 1997 and 1998, was Texas Middle School Champion in 2002, Texas 11th Grade Champion in 2004, and National High School Co-Champion in 2006.  He attended UT-Brownsville and competed on their Chess Team.  Brad is a professional chess instructor with five years' experience teaching chess in the Houston area.

Justin taught at the Klein Chess Camp in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011. He holds over a dozen Mississippi State Chess titles, 2000 U S Game-30 Champion, 1999 Southern K-9 Champion. He has been teaching chess for 10 years, including camps in Mississippi and Tennessee. He currently teaches private students in Houston. He earned his degree in Business Administration from UT-Dallas, and was on the Chess Team. He was a key player on the 2005 US Amateur Team East Co-Champion Team at UTD.  From July to December 2008, he played successfully in international chess tournaments in Europe, and trained extensively with GM Yuri Shulman and IM Peter Vavrak.  He is founder of HOT (Highly Original Thinkers) Chess Academy in Houston.

Bruce Donohoe MacArthur H S Chess Team Coach .
Bruce teaches history at MacArthur High School in Aldine, and has coached their Chess Team since 1985, including four Texas High School Champion Teams, one Individual State Co-Champion, and one National U1300 Champion. He is a highly respected chess teacher in the Houston area, a USCF Senior Tournament Director, and one of the directors of the Houston Scholastic Chess Association. He taught at our 1995, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011 camps.

Jon taught at the Klein Chess Camp in 2010 and 2011.  He is a professional chess instructor with nine years' experience teaching chess in the Houston area, both group and individual lessons.  Ex-President of the Cy-Fair College Chess Club, he is a director of the Northwest Houston Chess Club.
